Dear Society Organiser,
Now that Christmas is over, attention can hopefully be turned to how we can maximise your golfing experiences in 2012. As your Society Organiser I hope you will take a few minutes to read about the changes that have taken place at Malkins Bank and invite you to discuss your requirements with us.
The course is a great test of golf with tree lined fairways and undulating features bordering on the Trent & Mersey Canal with a small stream flowing through the entire golf course. Course improvements have already begun starting with the practice facilities, changes to Tee placements and the introduction of a fleet of buggies.
Ian Woosnam has already played at the course and thought the course was a great test of golf and is coming back in the near future to try to make amends for the halved match he played against Tony our "Director of golf" in October.
What can we do to make your society day a success?
Here are some of our suggestions:
• A dedicated coordinator for the day who will look after your needs
• Help with travel arrangements to and from course
• PA System on first tee with a dedicated starter
• Live scores in the clubhouse with leader board,
• Longest drive markers, nearest the pin,
• Courtesy Range balls to warm up
• PGA Professional Tuition (three PGA Pro’s on site)
• Food and Drinks Buggy throughout your round
• Overnight accommodation at our partner hotel (The Ramada Encore in Crewe)
